1) Events: Interviews, Seminars, Workshops, Classes, Exhibits
Whaddya know! I'm the featured author this week (8 Sep. 2008) on Author's Audio! :-)
Jake Steele did fun audio interview with me on his Author's Audio series.
I talked about everything from how I got interested in sacred geometry (the great pyramid,
goledn ratio, etc. to volcanos on Jupiter's moons.
Jake will be featuring Drunvalo Melchizedek next week, and James Barrett soon, BTW.
If you are interested in sacred geometry workshops in the Medford, Oregon area please let me know!
Here's my list of current and past events.
Don't bank robbers appreciate good geometric art? I heard on the news the other day that the
credit union in Ashland,
Oregon, (where my “Martineau Solar System” series is on display)
was robbed, but evidently they didn't take any of my framed giclées ...
I guess some folks just don't appreciate the finer things in life! :-)

2) New Products, Articles and Tutorials
The Third Hermetic Law (Vibration) is the topic for my most recent article on the
Spirit of Ma'at website. This series of articles are brief excerpts from my upcoming book,
The Geometry Code. I've listed the articles in this series (4 more to follow) on my Resources page,
as well as my Events page.
Here's the next installment of the "beginner's corner": a new "freebie" that I'm offering for new
subscribers to my free newsletter (that you're now reading), and, since you're already a subscriber,
here's the link for all you dear friends who have already subscribed:
Dividing a Line by the Golden Ratio - a classic geometric construction.
Also, rather than reinvent another wheel, I'll refer readers
to an excellent website with lots of tutorial informaton on the golden ratio and Fibonacci nubers:
Gary Meisner has had (for quite a while) an excellent site on the Golden Number, the Fibonacci Series
and all sorts of related info in History, Biology, Acoustics, Architecture, Art, Marketing, Music, and more.
Here's an example of the neat tidbits of info on the site: I had seen the 34 Angstrom (1 full turn of DNA
spiral) to 21 Angstrom (diameter of cross-section of DNA) relationship, but I hadn't seen (until today)
the diagram on this page showing that the major/minor spiral groove ratio is 21/13 Angstroms.

3) Recent Introductions ... (Still Fairly) New :-)
Digital audio download:
Sacred Geometry and Sound Healing :
How Ancient Hermetic Laws, Quantum Physics and
Universal Symbolic Archetypes all converge in Your Optimum Wellness
For those of you who weren't able to attend my presentation at the Globe Sound Healing Conference
in Woodland Hills in January (or those who would like to listen to it again any tim at your leisure!),
I've uploaded an audio transcript of my presentation. The GeometryCode logo (6 circular images
surrounding the central one is the perfect backdrop for listening to this talk as we explore the
7 Hermetic Laws, etc.)
Enhance your edits: Geometric Video Patterns (Gradient Wipe Transition Images) for Final Cut Pro!
If you use Final Cut Pro (or know someone who does) ... check out these gradient wipe transitions.
==================================================================
4) Website(s) of Interest
Surfaces and Curves - lots of lovely mathematical models and associated geometrical images;
such as Spherical Harmonics and SuperShape images like this one made of spheres
and this continuous 3D sinusoidal shape which reminds me of a cubic model I made a
while back for several of my Keynote presentations.
==================================================================
5) Book(s) of Interest
This Living Earth by David Cavagnaro - This classic book (along with
Secrets of the Great Pyramid by Peter Tompkins launched my interest in
sacred geometry with its introduction to the Golden Ratio using examples of it in nature.
==================================================================
6) Movie(s) of Interest
Crop Circles - Quest for Truth : although this documentary is now several years old, it still is a
superb extravaganza of elegant geometrical crop formation images, video, interviews and historical info.
==================================================================
7) Music of Interest
Structures From Silence by Steve Roach - lovely, deeply meditative music I've enjoyed for years.
The CD cover incidentally has a cosmic field of octahedra.
==================================================================
8) Affiliate(s) of the Month
Gaiam (formerly Real Goods):
a pioneer in solar equipment and now in products for sustainable living.
==================================================================
9) Quote(s) of the Month
"Happiness is a perfume which you cannot pour on someone without getting some on yourself."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."
- Mahatma Gandhi
"Forgiveness may be the greatest virtue on earth, and certainly the most needed."
- Gordon B Hinkley

10) Image(s) of the Month
This image seems like a good companion to the article on the Hermetic Law of Vibration mentioned above.
==================================================================
11) 2008 (now annual) multimedia CONTEST!
I've decided to make the Sacred Geometry Multimedia Contest an annual event, so you NOW have
until Dec. 31, 2008 to send me entries (inspired by Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook, or other
images or ideas on the site) to win a free GeometryCode screensaver and eBooklet!
BTW, I haven't had too many entries yet, so your odds are still good... send in yours ASAP!
==================================================================
12) Request for Submissions
If you would like to stay connected and network with kindred souls online, check out
LinkedIn. I'm enjoying connecting with both recent and long-time friends and colleagues
and discovering new friends of friends (and soon friends of friends of friends... :-)
As always, please let me know how I can support you. Please send me any interesting items about
sacred geometry or related interests (since everything is interrelated!
Thanks for your interest & support! :-)
